Every year Terrie organizes the Fall Fest in Pungo for citizens of the 81st District. This is a great opportunity for folks to come out and meet their representative, eat some great BBQ, and have a fun afternoon
with the entire family.
The 2007 Fall Fest was held on October 20th from 12:00-3:00, with an estimated attendance of 300 people.
This year we once again held the event at the Virginia Beach Airport (1341 Princess Anne Rd.), privately owned and operated by Gerald Yagen. Mr. Yagen was kind enough to allow us the use of his facility for another year and opened the doors of his hangar to give visitors a chance to see the amazing collection of vintage aircraft restored by his company the Fighter Factory. We had a wonderful 13-piece orchestra come to play big band and swing music while guests eat a fantastic lunch provided by Pungo Catering. There was also a silent auction, bake sale, antique cars on display, and activities for the children. This is a great opportunity for citizens in the 81st district to learn more about their representative while enjoying an exciting family event.
